Dr Jasmine Mohd is a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with a subspecialty interest in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery. With more than two decades of experience in women’s healthcare, she is highly skilled in the management of a wide range of obstetric and gynaecological conditions, with particular expertise in advanced laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and robotic-assisted surgery. Dr Jasmine is dedicated to helping women maintain their quality of life through evidence-based, patient-centred care tailored to every stage of life.
Clinical Expertise and Experience
Dr Jasmine has extensive experience in both obstetrics and gynaecology, with a special focus on minimally invasive surgical techniques for the treatment of common and complex gynaecological conditions. She completed a Health Manpower Development Plan Fellowship in robotic gynaecological surgery at the Mayo Clinic Arizona in 2010 and has since amassed significant surgical expertise in advanced laparoscopy and hysteroscopy.
Since entering private practice in 2012, Dr Jasmine has continued to serve as a Visiting Consultant with the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and Singapore General Hospital. She has also contributed actively to the advancement of women’s healthcare through leadership roles within the Academy of Medicine Singapore, the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Singapore, and the Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology.
Education and Training
Dr Jasmine graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2000 and completed her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. She obtained her Master of Medicine (O&G) from NUS and Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG), United Kingdom, in 2005.
In 2009, she was accredited as a specialist by the Specialist Accreditation Board of Singapore and was awarded Fellowship of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS). Reflecting her continued commitment to advancing patient care through innovation and precision medicine, Dr Jasmine commenced a Master of Science in Medical Genetics in 2024.
Research and Publications
Dr Jasmine has a longstanding commitment to medical education and professional training. She served as a clinical tutor to medical students and trained junior doctors in advanced hysteroscopy and laparoscopic surgery. Since 2009, she has been a core faculty member for the SingHealth Obstetrics & Gynaecology Residency Programme and was appointed Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS, in 2011.
Her academic and teaching contributions reflect her dedication to developing future generations of healthcare professionals while advancing standards of care in obstetrics and gynaecology.
