With over a decade of experience, Dr. Janice Tung is dedicated to providing value-based, holistic care. - Fertility care, subfertility assessment, and elective egg freezing
- Management of high-risk pregnancies and early pregnancy complications
- Minimally invasive laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures
- Treatment of gynaecological conditions including vulvar disease and menstrual disorders
Education and Training
Dr Tung obtained her medical degree from the National University of Singapore, earning the prestigious SS Ratnam Book Prize for topping her cohort in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She completed her post-graduate speciality training in the SingHealth Residency Programme and is accredited as a Specialist in O&G by the Specialists Accreditation Board (Ministry of Health, Singapore). She is also a respected member of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (UK).
Research and Publications
Dr Tung has contributed to clinical research in areas such as preterm labour, labour induction, cervical ripening and adolescent pregnancy care. Her research has been supported by the SingHealth Foundation Research Grant and the SingHealth Duke-NUS O&G Academic Clinical Programme (ACP) Grant, highlighting her contributions to improving ovarian conservation in laparoscopic cystectomies, labour induction, and preterm labour.
