Dr Tan Shu Qi is an experienced obstetrician and gynaecologist who brings both clinical excellence and academic leadership to her work in women’s health and fertility. Trained in London and Singapore, Dr Tan is known for her breadth of expertise across general gynaecology, fertility care, and complex pregnancies. Her approach combines evidence-based care with clarity and compassion, supporting patients through each stage of their reproductive health journey.

Education and Training
Dr Tan graduated with distinction in Medical and Clinical Sciences from St George’s, University of London. She completed her postgraduate training under the SingHealth O&G Residency Programme and is accredited as a specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology by Singapore’s Ministry of Health. She holds memberships with both the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (UK) and the Obstetrical & Gynaecological Society of Singapore.
Research and Publications
Dr Tan is an active clinical researcher with publications spanning IVF, preterm labour, urogynaecology, and women’s health education. She has received national-level research grants including from the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medicine Research Fund. Her work has been presented at leading conferences such as ASPIRE, FIGO, and APAGE, with multiple published papers in peer-reviewed journals. Her special interests include improving IVF outcomes, fertility behaviour trends, and advancing care for high-risk pregnancies.
